At Beverly Hills Car Club, every classic car that arrives has a story, but some resonate more deeply than others. We recently had the distinct pleasure of acquiring this stunning 1969 Ferrari 365, a car cherished by its previous owner for nearly 25 years. Its journey reminds us why we love these magnificent machines.
The gentleman we acquired it from, an East Coast doctor with a 30-year passion for unique cars, shared his experience. His desire for something “exotic or at least special” ignited in the late ’90s. Already a European car enthusiast, he found this very Ferrari 365 listed in Hemmings. Why a four-seater? Simple: “so the entire family could ride together.”
Its arrival on June 21, 1998, was cinematic. “It was cranked to back it out of the transport, and THAT was glorious!!” he recalls. For years, the Ferrari wasn’t just parked; it was lived in. “We enjoyed evening and weekend cruises, and even vacationed to nearby spots on occasion.” The heart of the car, its V12 engine, provided constant joy: “Its triple carbureted engine was always a delight, including that wonderful sound.”
Eventually, he felt it was “time to turn the page,” entrusting Beverly Hills Car Club with finding its next custodian. We’re honored to facilitate that transition. This 1969 Ferrari 365 represents decades of passion, family memories, and the unmistakable allure of classic Italian engineering.
