This 2-door, rear-wheel drive convertible model was powered by the 4.4-L Colombo SOHC V12 engine, which was capable of a maximum power output of 330 hp at 7,000 rpm. It had a top speed of 300 mph and an initial acceleration of 0 to 60 mph in less than 7 seconds. It retained the elegant exterior, luxurious interior, the rear-mounted five-speed transaxle and other great features of the 330 GTC and 330 GTS.

The 1969 Ferrari GTS is one of the most rare classic cars you can find, with approximately 20 examples built from 1969 to 1970 according to most sources. Nowadays, those examples are among the most desirable Ferrari classics and can be difficult to come by. “In spring of 2019, a relative died and left behind a sad, neglected treasure: a 1961 Ferrari 250GTE. It had sat in his garage for decades. He had left it to a family friend, who was not in a position to restore the car to its former beauty. As executor of the estate, for months I was plagued by very rude, aggressive vultures who’d heard rumors about the car and wanted to “take it off my hands” before my relative’s cremains had even cooled off.
