Lotus Esprit for Sale ?

The Lotus Esprit was a sports car built by the British car maker between 1976 and 2004. The car model was designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro at Italdesign and first introduced as a concept car at the Turin Motor Show in 1972. Based on the chassis of the Lotus Europa, the design of the Lotus Esprit was ‘edgy’, with geometrical shapes and the iconic square pop-up lights. The first series was the S1, replaced by a revised and improved S2 variant in 1978, which main design cues were a new integrated front spoiler and new ducts behind the rear quarter window. A turbocharged model was introduced in 1980 and was known as the Essex Turbo Esprit. A third S3 generation came in 1980, with distinct chassis design and body mold. Peter Stevens redesigned the Esprit in 1987, followed by Julian Thomson in 1993. And to continue the line, a new Esprit was introduced at the 2010 Paris Motor Show.
