1964 Lincoln Continental Convertible - CompleteROTISSERIE RESTORED Car, Fully Restored, Black with Tuxedo Interior and Fully Factory Optioned, Very Rare!!

 

   The Car’s paint looks like Glass! This is a Rotisserie restoration paint job! What that means and the reason for the rotisserie is because these sixties Lincolns are all unibody cars, you cannot take the frame off the chassis. So instead they take the engine out, dismantle and take off the transmission, take all axels, suspension, wheels, exhaust system, brake system, rear differential and any other part of the car off. Then they grab the front and the rear of the car and raise it off the floor so that is can completely turn upside down, to do a full “rotisserie restoration”. The entire car has been sand blasted inside and out. It was taken down to the bare metal! Inside the cabin floors, the trunk and completely underneath the car has had rhino lining treatment to keep out any water and prevent any rust happening now or in the future. Every piece of stainless, chrome, all the doors, the hood and the trunk were all removed too. Each piece of chrome has been triple plated with new chrome and all the stainless has been polished to perfection. All the doors, trunk and hood were individually painted one at a time, then they were re-installed. The car is straighter than the day it left the factory, it is gorgeous, and everything lines up perfectly. Underneath the car is perfect. All the chrome and stainless are on the car and look great!

   Mechanically, this diamond runs great and cruises down the road like you’re floating on air. We have upgraded the brake system with a Disc brake conversion kit for the front and back (disc brakes front and back!!! Very Rare!!) with a late model propositional valve, with 1” dropped spindles, Complete new brake line system for the Upgraded Dual Master Cylinder, Brand new brake lines to each wheel from the master, Complete front end rebuild!, Brand new upper and lower A arms bushings, Brand new front springs, Brand new high amp alternator, Brand new Edelbrock carburetor (450) which gives good economic gas mileage and helps the engine breath like a champ, Brand new fuel lines from front to back, Brand new shocks, Complete new exhaust system from the manifolds to the back (flow masters), all new plumbing for the transmission cooling lines ( new pipes etc), late model rear differential.

   Rhino Linings treatment has been installed inside the trunk floors and the cabin of the car to protect against any future rust! 

   The Tuxedo interior with its beautiful French stitching is unbelievable. The interior has been fully redone in the biscuit pattern. The front seats are rare factory ordered bucket seats and both are 8 way electric. The leather is very soft and feels great!! Everything has been replaced with brand new reproduction products. Every single piece of interior chrome has been redone and looks amazing!! The dash is in perfect condition too. These Lincolns are renowned for having cracking dashes. This one is beautiful. The interior is another added value to this incredible ride. It really sets off the car and has been done with outstanding craftsmanship. 

   The Wheels are Brand New expensive 20" inch chrome custom Wheels and Brand new directional low pro tires. The tires have less than 100 miles on them. It also features a Custom sound system with surround sound. The radio was mounted under the dash and looks very clean. There are many speakers all over the car discreetly placed and hidden. The quality of the sounds is very nice and has great clarity. 

   The 60's Lincolns are renowned for having trouble with their convertible tops and front and rear windows which the rear windows not only go up and down from the window switch. They also have an automatic feature which lowers them when you open the back doors and they automatically rise when you close them. This is so the rear windows don't damage the weather-stripping. The top mechanism and windows have been completely gone through and checked from start to finish by a Lincoln restoration Guru. Everything works as it should!!
